This panel reports all configuration parameters known to tranSMART, and also any other parameters defined in the site configuration (the Config.groovy file).
Default values are reported where applicable. Each known parameter has a brief description of its effect.
Parameters are grouped by function. Each set can be hidden or displayed independently.
At the bottom of the page a section "Unknown" reports any other values that are not recognized by tranSMART. These may be local customizations or possibly naming errors in the Config.groovy file.
Although the panel is only available for admin users any username or password information is marked "(hidden)" to show a value has been defined but not displayed.
This panel reports the version and build information for all plugins and dependencies included in the transmart.war file. The details can be very helpful when debugging as they confirm the tranSMART version in use.
Status of Support Connections
This panel reports the status of services that tranSMART depends on for certain functionality.
Status of SOLR server
SolR is used to query metadata, for example in the Filter options on the Browse and Analyze tabs, and in the Sample Explorer tab. These use three solR cores which query views of the metadata in the database.
The panel reports the availability of each core, and the number of records (metadata for faceted search, browse tab objects, and samples).
Status of R server
The R server is used for analysis functions in the Advanced Workflows on the Analyze tab. This panel check the server is running and available, and checks that all the expected R and BioConductor packages are installed.
If the Rserve server fails to respond, or if packages are missing, the error message is reported.
Status of connection to gwava.war
GWAVA is a utility for visualization in the GWAS analysis tab. GWAVA is usually run as a separate war file on the same tomcat server as tranSMART.
If the server fails to respond the error message is reported.
